The hotel was clean and in a handy spot, close to places to eat, drink, and shop. But the real standout was Dalvonta at the front desk. He was terrific from check-in through checkout, and I’m 48 and have worked in customer service my whole life, so I know good service when I see it. It’s hard to find these days, and I appreciate that he gives it. I’m just a stranger visiting from Texas, not a friend writing to boost him. If his bosses read this, they’ve got a gem. Five stars, and I’d recommend the place without hesitation.

I’m here for one night, and the suite is pretty cold because neither thermostat works and the insulation isn’t great. Staff didn’t move me to another room. They thought the thermostat batteries might be dead and said maintenance would come in the morning, then brought me an extra blanket. The rooms are also worn and could use a refresh.

Breakfast was great, and the room was clean with friendly service. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance and plenty of good shops within a mile. It seems especially well suited to a longer stay. I’ll definitely be back.

I moved out before my extended Air Force TDY was over because I no longer felt comfortable leaving my things in the room. After housekeeping visits, I repeatedly found personal food and items missing. Another military member in my class had similar problems. Housekeeping also fell short on basic cleanliness and supplies. Towels were often taken without replacements, and the front desk sometimes said none were available. My toilet was never cleaned, even though staff came into the room regularly, and I had real doubts that my sheets had been changed. For a Marriott property that often hosts military TDYs, the lack of privacy, sanitation, and professionalism was unacceptable. I’ve reported my concerns to military lodging channels and Marriott corporate, and strongly encourage leadership to investigate this property’s housekeeping.
