The owner is very nice, and the prices make this a good option when you’re on a tight budget. It’s close to Olean and I-86, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms should keep you warm in winter. Each one has a microwave and refrigerator.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Just ten minutes farther down the road, you can find something much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a longer stay, though, they may rent rooms by the week or month at rates that are much more affordable than anywhere else nearby.

From the outside it looks a bit ramshackle, and our room had a single-unit air conditioner, but it worked fine even in mid-July. The front desk was friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. We paid $60 a night for two double beds, and the room was very clean with comfortable beds and soft sheets. As a practical budget traveler, it’s the best hotel deal I’ve found in the US. I wish I could find places like this wherever I go.

I tried this motel last weekend and left after one night, cancelling the second. The first room was awful, with what looked like black mold in the bathroom, smoke detectors that didn’t work, and beds that seemed like they’d been picked up from the trash. The second room was a big improvement, but one night was enough. I can’t believe the reviews I read. They must have been written by the owner and their family. Spend the extra $20-30 and stay somewhere else. You’ll be much healthier and safer.
