Rodeway Inn Manchester I-90

For a work trip, I wanted somewhere cheaper than the Microtel at $160 a night. This place was convenient and a great value. The room was very clean, and the block walls kept it nice and quiet. The microwave and fridge both worked well, and the location was perfect. The outside light shines brightly through the curtains, though, and the thruway traffic can get loud at times.

The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows, at least. Before that, though, the lock on the door was missing half its parts, and cockroaches were in the refrigerator, which didn’t work, so I had to throw out all my food. There was a questionable stain in the middle of the bedsheet, and the lobby smelled like someone was smoking pot. The room just felt wrong. A Feng shui practitioner would run screaming.

The staff were okay-ish, but the rooms were scary: dirty, smelly, and giving prison-cell vibes. It doesn’t look like the pictures on Expedia. Don’t stay here. You’d be better off car camping or doing pretty much anything else.

This was a nightmare, with bed bugs and cockroaches. When I reported them, they denied it and said I’d brought them with me. They also put up homeless people from DSS on the south side of the building. This isn’t a place for a good night’s sleep. You’re better off sleeping in your car.
