SpringHill Suites Manchester-Boston Regional Airpt

Growing up near Logan, I actually enjoyed hearing the planes. The kitchen sink worked great and had a disposal, but the bathroom sinks and tubs or showers drained slowly. That was our only complaint. It was a nice stay overall. One thing to watch: the first photos that come up on Google aren’t of this location, though Manchester itself is still very nice.

The room was okay, but the breakfast and fitness room were a letdown. I travel about 250 flights and stay more than 160 nights a year, and experience has taught me that these details matter a lot. At breakfast, which was advertised as running until 9:30, the hot pans were nearly empty when I came down at 9. There was no sausage and only a spoonful of eggs. When I asked for help, I was told they served breakfast until 9:30. A few of us waited another 15 minutes for the buffet to be refilled. The fitness room had no towels or wipes for cleaning the equipment. I asked politely and got little response, so I used a towel from my room to wipe down the machine. I was left wondering whether it had been clean before I used it. As a Marriott Platinum member, this was one of my less positive stays. Let’s keep improving and helping each other along the way.

The room was spacious and thoughtfully set up, with a comfortable bed, desk, mini-fridge, and separate sitting area. That made it easy to relax and get some work done, and the soundproofing was good despite being so close to the airport. Check-in and checkout both went smoothly. The staff were welcoming, professional, and quick to help, which made for a really nice stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Manchester–Boston Regional Airport.

We found long black and blonde hair all over the hotel room floor. Our six-year-old picked something up and got a huge clump of hair on it. The pool was just as bad. While swimming, my husband, kids, and I kept pulling clumps of long women’s hair out of the water. It was disgusting. I didn’t take pictures because the sight was enough to turn your stomach. I still haven’t gotten our $20 security deposit back. We spent $150 to stay here and regret it. We should have gone across the street, and I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
