My wife and I were trying to celebrate our 20th anniversary, but the manager on duty at 7:30 p.m. on 2/14/26 was rude and had no bedside manner. We had booked for 2/13-2/15, then got a late-night knock because of a staff error. Our choices were to pay an extra $60 deposit or pack our bags. We’re from out of town, and this wouldn’t have been an issue if they’d told us at check-in the night before. We won’t recommend this location.

The property was clean and all the staff were very friendly, which makes this even more disappointing. They sprang a $6 parking fee on me at check-in, and I only found out when I arrived. The Wi-Fi also isn’t really complimentary, since you have to register with Bonvoy to get it. I was tired from a long drive and just wanted to lie down, so I reluctantly paid and went along politely. The man behind me was angry and they waived his fee. Travelers count on Hilton for a clean place in a safe area at a competitive price, and charging this when people arrive road-weary felt like getting rolled. I think the counter staff are friendly, but it’s a shame they work for an organization I find so low-down, inhospitable, and exploitative of vulnerable travelers. That $6 will cost them: I’ll never stay at a Hilton Bonvoy again and will tell everyone I know not to stay here.

The toast was the only breakfast item that came out right, and I had to make it myself. The sandwiches were dried out, the turkey sausage was dry every day, and there was always something mixed into the scrambled eggs. Why not put out the basics, like eggs, bacon, and sausage, instead of trying to please a small percentage with foo-foo garbage? A few weeks later, nothing had improved; they’d doubled down. In the past ten days there was just one day with normal breakfast items. I’m starting to think someone made a bad choice and bought stock in turkey sausage and spinach. Save your money and stay at a La Quinta.

I travel often and have Ambassador Elite status. This is the first time a hotel has asked me to pay an early check-in fee, even though early check-in is a Marriott loyalty benefit. If you’re staying here, factor in extra charges and check your bill at checkout. They seem to like adding fees.
