We were very happy with our stay, even though the room was hard to cool down and felt much too hot. The room and the hotel were super clean. We arrived as walk-ins around 9pm on our way from Long Island to Boston, and Measa, I think that was her name, was amazing at getting us a room. She gave us some much-needed bottles of water and recommended Maggie McFlys for a late meal. It was absolutely perfect for us.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was peaceful, neat, and quiet, with easy access to the interstate. There’s a mall nearby, along with Walmart and other places to eat. The place clearly considers guest comfort. As with most Fairfields, there’s no stove in the rooms.

The breakfast was supposed to run until 10am, but by 9:30 the prepared food was already gone or running low. My keycards kept deactivating, and when I asked for replacements, I was told it probably wouldn’t help because it was “a system thing.” The parking lot was also cluttered with disorganized construction supplies that blocked off a lot of spaces. The work seemed to be moving slowly, so I expect that to be a problem for a while. There’s only a sheer curtain on the window, so sleeping much past sunrise is unlikely. Most seriously, I reported a potentially serious elevator safety issue to the front desk. Nothing seemed to be done, and the elevator was still in service with the same issue when I checked out. That felt alarmingly negligent.

The front desk staff were awesome, and I really appreciated how everyone tried to make our stay comfortable. We had a cozy, clean room, and I loved having until noon to check out so we could relax before heading home. The Fairfield by Marriott is handy for the mall area and the Comedy Convention Club.
