Quality Inn Hixson - Chattanooga

This is a budget hotel without frills. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and parking was close by. Breakfast was free but very basic, and the room had a strange odor I didn’t like. It also felt humid even with the AC running. The manager was very helpful when my plans changed and I had to leave after three of my four booked nights. I couldn’t cancel the last night through the Booking app, but she sorted out a refund for me.

The room was comfortable and relaxing, and it had everything I needed without having to ask. It was clean too. I was 20 minutes late getting out at checkout, as usual, and apologized. They said it was no problem and wished me a good day. But I still haven’t received my deposit back on my card, and no one has explained why.

I booked this for my son and his girlfriend, who were driving from Florida on their first long road trip to attend a wedding at Mountain Heights Venue. They arrived late at night but had no trouble checking in, which was a huge relief to me. My credit card was initially declined because the purchase was from out of state. The front desk staff helped get it sorted the next morning, and everything worked out. A special thanks to Amy for being so patient and kind with the kids and me. Her care and professionalism let me sleep easily, knowing they were safe and comfortable.

For a three-day fishing trip, this clean room, beds, and bathroom were better than I expected for a budget-friendly hotel. It felt clean and safe, so don’t let the bad reviews put you off. I’ll be back. It’s a nice budget hotel!
