I had a quiet night in a clean, comfortable room, and the front desk man was kind and welcoming. After a seven-hour drive, that bed felt great. The lobby was clean, and I appreciated getting a ground-floor room right by check-in as a woman traveling alone. I arrived around 9 p.m. and didn't hear anyone all night. I was in a panic when my wallet disappeared on the way to Hobbs and found out they don't take Apple Pay or tap to pay. Luckily, they accepted the emergency cash I keep for the deposit. The rooms are nicer than Econo Lodge and about on par with La Quinta, though they keep them so clean it seems like they're proud of it. I've stayed at pricier hotels where the bathroom had urine in the toilet and on the floor, so I was especially glad this one was clean. I visit friends in Hobbs every few months and don't want to impose on them. I'm happy to have found an affordable place and plan to stay here on future visits.

This is my go-to when I'm sightseeing around that part of NM, including Carlsbad, Sitting Bull Falls, and other great BLM places. The location is great, staff respond fast when you need something, and they're super friendly. It's pet friendly, too. The rooms and facilities are clean, the king bed is comfy, and there's a fridge, a big TV, and what you need after a long day on the road. Breakfast is always stocked and about as good as complimentary breakfast gets. Best Western really is the best!

We've stayed twice, and both times the rooms were clean and in excellent shape. Staff are polite and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. Best place to stay in Hobbs.

We love staying here and have done it many times. Everything's great, except now they charged us $15 a day for our pet for our two-day stay. We've never been charged before. So which is it, a pet fee or no pet fee? Seems to depend on who's working the desk. That's just not right.

The rooms were spacious, almost like efficiency apartments, and even had walk-in closets. Everything was clean, and the beds were among the most comfortable we had on our two-week drive between Oklahoma and California. The check-in staff were very friendly, and the morning staff were welcoming and helpful. It's clearly an older hotel. There was a faint musty smell when we checked into our rooms, and the walls could use fresh paint. Even so, we were very pleased with our stay.
