We arrived late Friday after a long trip, and my husband couldn't shower because the handle came off. The young woman at the front desk said she'd have someone look at it at 8 the next morning. We explained we were tired and wanted a shower before sleeping, but she said that was their last option. When we asked for a manager, she went to the back and returned less than 20 seconds later saying she was sorry but couldn't do anything. It didn't seem like she could have spoken to the manager that quickly. In the morning, before we left, I said maintenance didn't need to come since we were leaving soon, and explained how unhappy I was with how the shower issue had been handled. They said they had no record or knowledge of it. They offered to fix it then, but by that point there was no use. We asked for a refund and were refused because they had tried to fix the problem. Poor customer service. Stay at your own risk.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were very nice. But the heating and AC fan kept cycling on and off every 10-20 seconds with no way to shut it off, and the mini fridge made a high-pitched noise all night. The room noise interrupted my sleep, so that's why I gave it four stars.

There are several kind and respectful staff here, but the manager who lives on the property has been a recurring problem for me. I've stayed before, and whenever something comes up, she seems to respond defensively or with an excuse. Her attitude toward customers adds to the problem. I also heard the hotel and hallway filled with loud screaming from her room and the hallway while she and possibly her boyfriend argued last week. Police arrived, and she kept shouting. The only words I could make out were “I didn't,” over and over. I asked the front desk if the police visit was something to worry about and got no real answer. I've tried calling corporate several times and nobody answers. The property is run down and badly needs a major remodel and new management. It's embarrassing, and I won't stay here again.

The woman behind the front desk was very sweet, kind, and professional, but her boss was rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping wanted to charge $250 to my room for dirt flaking off my boots, claiming it was cigarette ash. It was Kellici dirt. If you work in the oilfield, know that they may not be able to tell dry mud from ashes.
