The shared spaces and the outdoor patio with its hot tub were lovely, especially at night after a full day out. Snacks, coffee, and tea were available whenever we wanted. Our room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable we slept better than at home. Engen Hus Bed and Breakfast has a cozy, upscale feel without being stuffy. We went for a weekend and wished we’d booked another night. It reminded me how much nicer a good B&B can be than a chain hotel.

Esther was a wonderful host and made an amazing breakfast. The house and rooms were clean and cozy, and my husband and I had a great time on our first B&B stay. We’ll definitely come back and tell our friends and family about this cute little place we stumbled upon.

It was a joy staying in this beautiful home. The fully equipped kitchen is great for a traveling professional chef, and the little touches felt thoughtfully arranged for everyone’s comfort, from the live plants to the extra cozy pillows. Highly recommend!

For my birthday week, I wanted somewhere cozy and relaxing, and I’m glad I chose this beautiful bed and breakfast for a two-night staycation with my friend. We stayed in the Jordan Pines room, where the three cord chargers at each end table were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, and Esther was attentive and kept communication open throughout our stay. We appreciated her husband Nathan working behind the scenes, too. Breakfast was good, and the mini fridge and snacks were handy. Next time we’ll try another room and use the hot tub. Thanks for welcoming us into your home. Happy Holidays. 🎄

Esther is kind and thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make this B&B feel more welcoming than a chain hotel. The rooms were spotless and beautifully kept, and the cozy shared spaces felt like home. A hidden gem near SLC!
