Fairfield Inn & Suites Salt Lake City Cottonwood

The view from my room was world class, and having car charging on site was a huge plus. The receptionist was sweet, very personable, and suggested some sightseeing excursions while I was in town. I also appreciated that the free continental breakfast had real mugs and cutlery. It added a nice touch. One of the best hotels I’ve visited.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had a pleasant stay. It’s handy for the freeway and close to a cluster of ski resorts, which made getting around easy. There was no daily parking fee either. I’d stay here again if I needed to.

The pool and jacuzzi were great, and there was a good range of breakfast items. This is a newer property, so there were a few growing pains, but it’s very comfortable. If anything comes up, talk to the manager, Shannon. She was easy to work with and will take care of you. We enjoyed our stay.

The free breakfast was fantastic, and the room was clean with just enough space. A couple of things could be better: there’s no sign showing where the elevator is from the entrance or on the floors, and it isn’t obvious. The rooms also felt too dark because the lighting wasn’t sufficient. Avoid a room by the main street if traffic noise bothers you, it never lets up.
