What made our time at the Captain Simeon Potter House stand out most was the service. The hosts went above and beyond and made us feel welcome throughout. The house itself is beautiful, historic, well kept, full of character, and still clean, comfortable, and high end. It's right near the water, with Bowens Wharf, downtown Newport, and great restaurants all within walking distance. Everything was easy to get to. This was hands down the best service I've experienced. I'll never stay anywhere else when I'm in Newport. Highly recommend.

The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable, and she spoke with me well before we arrived to help plan the whole trip. The beautiful house is right by the water, and breakfast was delicious. This bed and breakfast was much more affordable than lesser quality options in town. Highly, highly recommend!

We spent our honeymoon here and loved it. Sarina reached out well before we arrived and kept checking that we were comfortable and had all the information we needed. The place is wonderful, close to the pier and the wharf, with a great location. The rooms, house, kitchen, food, and everything else at the establishment were top notch. Sarina was an amazing host.

Sarina shared invaluable suggestions for activities, parking, and local foodie spots during our first visit to Newport. We felt relaxed and welcome in this beautifully renovated historic home, full of light, plants, and cozy touches like afternoon sweets and a delicious breakfast spread. Captain Simeon is in a fantastic spot right beside Goat Island, with beautiful sunsets, and the wharf is walkable. My husband and I loved staying at CSP. We've already recommended it to friends and family and would love to return.

Sarina was delightful to talk with and made delicious breakfast each day. We had a lovely stay at the Simeon Potter House, where the restored house is beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable for our family. We enjoyed two perfect sunsets from the house, and all the restaurants in town were within walking distance. We look forward to coming back soon.
