On this second visit to BW SureStay Hollister within a year, the place was empty, but we got the very same room as before. Its condition hadn't changed. The first time was in early summer, when the “trades” had the place full. The room was okay, but the shower area had extensive ceiling damage, bubbled paint, and what looked like mold. We noticed materials around the building and thought they might be remodeling, so we held off on posting a review. It seems maintenance is behind, and there may be better options nearby.

I woke up covered in bed bug bites and told the staff. Given the state of the building, I'd be surprised if anything gets addressed. The bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite some time, with mold behind the shower door and all through the shower. The towels had hair in them, like they'd just been refolded.

The rooms were quiet, clean, and updated, and the staff were friendly. I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone traveling for work or fun.
