Check-in through check-out went smoothly, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was right. I had a very pleasant stay in a spacious, well-kept room.

I wouldn't trust this business, and the place is a dump too. They ran my credit card three times, pretending the receipt printer wasn't working. Before I let them run my debit card, I asked several times whether my credit card was being charged. They said no, which was a lie. I later saw two $100 charges on the card. They said they'd reverse them, but that was also a lie. More than 10 business days passed without a reversal, according to my card company, so its fraud department is disputing the charges.

The room had working dual door locks, tiny stained glass vinyl window coverings, and the basic motel amenities. There was privacy, no sign of infestation or unwanted visitors, a straightforward price, and a very lenient check-in time. The accommodations were sparse: bring your own bedding and toiletries, since they provide only two bars of soap and a polyester bedspread. Still, in a pinch, it does the trick, better than a kick in the head with a golf shoe. I didn't dislike the place, it just was what it was, and not really worth a plural star rating. The staff weren't unfriendly at check-in or after checkout. It was the abrupt knocking an hour before my usual motel checkout time that was unpleasant. I felt a little rushed, like daylight saving time had snuck up and stolen an hour of my morning. Checkout is at ten, with door banging. I won't deliberately return.

The place is quiet and sort of clean, but the people running it are grimey. They charged us a different price every time we stayed, and then said visitors weren't allowed in the middle of the day. We had to pay $20 just for one friend to park and pick us up. A couple of weeks later, they charged us $10 for my wife's girlfriend to hang out for an hour. They should be ashamed of themselves.
