Boca Ciega Resort

Boca Ciega Resort, Unit 103 was clean and well cared for, and the host replied promptly whenever we had questions. We had a delightful stay and found it a great base for exploring the St. Petersburg area. We'd happily recommend it and would love to return next time.

The condo itself was very nice in spring, and the location and view were perfect. My problem was at the pool: residents harassed me because I wanted to swim after dusk. They said Pinellas County law bans pool access then, but I checked with family who work at the city courthouse and was told there is no such law. The only restriction they mentioned applies to beaches, not properly lit pools. I like swimming at night and using a hot tub after a busy, hot day. In Florida, it usually feels too hot to use one at other times. I understand residents may have had trouble with people making noise around the pool after dark, and setting a cutoff is their right. But they shouldn't make up a fake law to justify it. It's also my right not to stay at this resort again. If renters can't use amenities until at least 10 p.m., people may choose not to come. Owners could have a harder time renting their condos, and the resort could suffer.

My husband and I came for a long weekend and a friend's wedding, and we're lifelong customers now. The place is spotless, and we could watch dolphins from the balcony all day. The price was just right, and the pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. Everything in our unit was perfect: bed, kitchen, bathroom, all of it. When we couldn't work out the door on arrival, the owner let us in remotely and arranged for someone to come help within an hour. The owners are just a call away if anything comes up. Madeira Beach is only minutes away, with plenty of fun nearby. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

The waterfront view was lovely, and the small condo we rented from our host Scott through Airbnb had a lot to offer. There's also a restaurant next door within walking distance, with great food and drinks. After long days out exploring, my other half and I relaxed on the balcony at night and watched the sunset. We spotted dolphins on about three of our five days there, which was amazing.
