The manager was nice, but the woman in the lobby got offended and was rude when I complained about the room. There was hot water, but also a roach, dead bugs, hair in the tub and on the floor, dirty floors, and a press-on nail on the floor. There was only one small piece of soap, and the door handle was loose and made the door hard to close.

This was a last-minute stop, and I was very disappointed. There was no curtain, so I had to tack one up myself. The lock shut me out of the room twice, and there was no TV remote or Bible. They gave me a room that was already occupied, and my key opened the door. When she opened the room for me, the towels and toilet paper were just thrown on the bed.

At 3 a.m., three different men haggled me for a cigarette. Then one asked me to take him to the gas station and got increasingly angry when I said no. He yelled to a few others hanging around the parking lot that there was a real POS in room 211. It was still 3 a.m. I waited 45 minutes to see if the air would come on, but the room stayed over 80 degrees and smelled awful, like someone stuck in the Sahara without deodorant. I felt uncomfortable and politely asked for a refund. They told me to come back the next day to see a manager, which I did. The manager refused a refund, saying my check-in and checkout times were only 45 minutes apart but that I had left a receipt on the table, so the room had been used. They didn't offer even a partial refund, just $35 off the next night. I declined.

I prepaid for three non-smoking rooms for guests coming in from out of town. The first guest arrived to a room that smelled of smoke, and some lamp bulbs were blown. When he politely asked the manager for bulbs, the manager was rude, insisted he'd checked and they were fine, and denied anyone had smoked in the room. We moved the guests to the nearby Quality Inn, but the manager wouldn't refund that room or the following night's booking. We lost $350 for rooms that were never used. It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I wouldn't go there even if it were the last place on earth, especially with a nice Quality Inn nearby. I was trying to save a few dollars, and it cost me.

The hotel needs updating. The rooms were terrible, with no phones and gaps under the doors. There were flies and dead roaches, and the photos they show aren't real.
