The main thing I want to mention is Christine at the front desk, on the evening of Monday 5th Jan. She was incredibly friendly, sweet, and helpful at check-in. The hotel also worked well for getting around without a car, just a five-minute walk to the corner of Hollywood and highland. There's a cafe on site with great coffee, plus coffee in the room. Across the road are late-night food options, and there are drink machines on the premises. Plenty of parking and a pool, too. Thanks, Christine.

The rooms are simple but clean, and fine for a couple of nights. Staff were helpful and friendly. There's a small Mexican cafe attached that does a great breakfast.

We'd stay here again. The price was good, the staff were really helpful, and our room was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and both the pool and jacuzzi were clean. It's also a short walk from Hollywood Blvd.

The staff made a strong impression on us, especially Valencia, if I have his name right. Even though we were exhausted, he walked us to our room, showed us where to park, and reassured us that the property was safe and had plenty of security cameras. He said he'd worked there for 12 years, and I can see why they value him. His kindness felt genuine. I offered him a tip, but he politely declined and said he did it out of the kindness of his heart. I hope the hotel appreciates him. The manager was kind and helpful too. We arrived late at night, earlier than planned, and were tired, but he gave us a great rate and made check-in quick and easy. Parking was simple, and the room was very clean, had no odd smells, and was restful. The bed was super comfortable after our long, exhausting trip. We also liked having a mini fridge and microwave. The room was cozy and a great size, and the hotel is only about 8 minutes from Universal Studios. We left with a fantastic impression and highly recommend this location.
