Hollywood Beach Marriott

At check-in they offer Wycliff brut as a welcome drink, from noon to 6pm, and snacks at the front desk. Bikes are free for two hours from 7am to 5pm, with a helmet and lock included. For breakfast, the orange and grapefruit juice is freshly squeezed, while the rest comes from cans. I liked the potatoes and cantaloupe better than the honeydew. Tea is Tea Forte, with English breakfast served with a lemon slice or Earl Grey. Coffee is Royal Cup. The pool area has a hot tub and a pool with a deep end over 6 feet, plus chairs and umbrellas. You can pick up towels and chair covers there, along with complimentary nonalcoholic frozen lemonade and passion fruit. You could add the Wycliff bubbly from the front desk. At the beach, two chairs are included until 6pm, while an umbrella costs $20. I wish they also rented life jackets, snorkeling gear, fins, and floaties.

The location makes it easy to walk to lots of restaurants on the boardwalk, and the beach is right in front of the hotel. There's a nice beach bar for drinks or lunch, and the front desk hands out water bottles and snacks during the day. The rooms are roomy and, though older, are well maintained. Staff are among the friendliest we've met, even as regular Marriott customers. On one visit they surprised us with champagne for a special occasion. We stay here often on our Florida trips and highly recommend it.

Everyone was friendly and courteous, and check-in came with complimentary champagne, sweets, water, and chips, with a choice of chips. We enjoyed breakfast at the buffet, seated right on the broadwalk. The balcony gave us great views of the beach on both sides. This Marriott in Hollywood Beach has an outstanding location and everything you need without breaking the bank. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Latitudes on the beach was fantastic, with great food and service. The food was a little overpriced and the drinks weren't the tropical specialties I'd hoped for, but we enjoyed eating there. Front desk staff and servers were excellent, and the free daily snacks, water, and champagne from the desk were a nice perk. We stayed at the Marriott in Hollywood beach from 4/6/26 to 4/11/26. Our king studio with partial view was tiny. The wraparound couch left barely any space for suitcases, the closet was small, and the fridge was huge. There wasn't a toaster for our morning bagels. I asked for a larger room for me, my husband, and our 7 year old, but they could only offer a double queen, which I was told was even smaller than the studio. I wouldn't stay here with a family. The pool was small but not horrible. The deck had very few chairs, and the woman on towel duty was strict about Bluetooth speaker volume and balls or toys being thrown around. The 3-5 daily happy hour was decent. The hotel itself is nice, but very outdated. We didn't care for it overall or for Hollywood Beach. The Broadwalk wasn't anything special and didn't offer guests much, and brown seaweed piled up on the beach every day without being cleaned. For what I paid for this resort, especially as a Marriott, I was extremely disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it or return.
