The staff at Terrazas were so welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. We got to celebrate my mom’s birthday with breakfast vouchers for Terrazas Restaurant, a thoughtful gift from the property manager that made the day extra memorable. Our whole stay at Lyfe Resort was amazing, from arrival through checkout. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’re grateful for the hospitality and will definitely return. Highly recommend it for a relaxing stay!

We stayed in unit 2404. The view and location were awesome, but that was about all we enjoyed. There was construction next door the whole time, with banging and drilling, and giant roaches all over the balcony on our second night. We didn’t see any inside, but still, gross. The stove never worked, so the food we bought went to waste. We called about it and were told maintenance would come between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We lost the day waiting, and nobody showed. We also had the fire alarms blaring while cooking in the oven, even though there wasn’t a stitch of smoke. We were there for only 4 days and lost another day waiting for maintenance. The $200 cleaning fee was laughable. The room itself was filthy. Before unpacking, we had to clean and sanitize everything. There were sticky drip marks on the cabinets, disgusting floors and bathrooms, brown dried sludge in one plunger holder, splatters by the other bathroom’s garbage can, and mold in the hot water kettle. Some bowls were chipped, and there were no cleaning supplies, so we bought our own. The old, stinky mops in the washer and dryer closet looked like they’d been used with dishwater. We ended up buying a Swiffer at the dollar store. The gorgeous, spotless lobby gave us a very different impression from the unit. Valet parking was mandatory, and it became a huge pain whenever we needed something from the car. The valets stood by while we went through our belongings, which felt awkward, and you feel like you have to tip each time. If you leave twice a day, that’s four tips in one day. After the first two days, we took the Sun Shuttle to avoid valet. The wristbands had indestructible plastic clips that even hotel staff couldn’t get on. They weren’t elastic or stretchable, yet we were told to wear them at all times, even to the beach, so we’d get a nice tan line. Beach seating was as bad as everyone said. Very few people spoke or understood English, which made communication difficult. I’d absolutely never stay here again. We’d stayed at the Diplomat a few years ago and it was amazing, nothing like this place. We chose this resort/condo for the extra room because there were four of us. I don’t know what the other units are like, but holy hell, don’t stay in 2404. If you’re okay with forced valet and wristbands, at least try another unit.

The room was okay, with a nice view outside, and the beach access and location right by the water were great. The pool wasn’t the rooftop one I expected, since it’s on the 9th floor, but it had pretty good views and nice spots for photos. Valet is required for the whole stay, so even if you can park your own car, you have to wait for them to bring it. It felt like a waste. It’s okay as a last resort, but not my first choice or a must-go.

The pool experience was one of the worst parts. You can’t keep your phone, towel, or even a bottle of water beside you, and security keeps walking around checking that nobody has outside food or drinks. The food there is expensive and disappointing, and you can’t even bring in a soda. Meanwhile, servers come right into the pool to take drink orders and bring drinks into the water. Then moments later, security tells you to get out of the pool because Eid the drink. This isn’t really a hotel, which is confusing from the start. It’s a residential complex where many units are rented as Airbnb or DayPass. The staff are extremely rude, and instead of a resort, the place feels like a PRISON. From arrival, they’re constantly correcting minor things and enforcing strict rules that take the enjoyment out of a vacation. If you want somewhere to relax for a few days, this is NOT the place. It was a terrible experience and nothing like I expected from a resort.

The views were awesome, and the room itself was very nice. The location was easy to get to. But the balcony stone was broken, which felt scary, and staff gave little notice before making random requests to come into the room. Their English was limited, making it hard to communicate. The guy trying to fix the TV in the master was nice but couldn’t communicate, and my son ended up fixing it. The microwave didn’t work and the floors were filthy. Valet stole a bottle of wine from my rental car. Nobody helped with our bags, and staff didn’t even speak when we came into the building. This is my most honest thoughts on the
