You can walk to everything from here, and it’s a great spot for anyone wanting to stay on the beach without paying a premium. It works well if you mainly need a place to sleep and shower while visiting Hollywood. I found sand backing up into the shower when I first arrived, but they gave me free parking for the rest of the stay.

I stayed one night out of the three because it was raining and I couldn’t leave. It honestly felt like punishment. The room was badly worn, old, dirty, smelled terrible, and had awful decor. There was no comfort at all, and the towels were ripped and filthy. The area outside felt extremely unpleasant too. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even for a quick pass-through. It’s ready for demolition, and the city should shut it down. Stay away.

This hotel is in the best location, away from the tourist and street crowds, and the guests seemed like regular Americans and ordinary tourists. The service is second to none. It’s just an awesome place, a real gem. Don’t think twice.

Getting around the room was easy, even on crutches, and check-in and checkout were simple. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is beautiful, just a short walk from the beach.

The staff were really helpful and quick to respond, and they even offered us a good weekly rate. I also liked not having to pay a security deposit. The price and the Ocean Inn’s convenient Hollywood, Florida location made the stay a good value, with clean, nicely sized rooms close to everything I needed. A few appliances didn’t work reliably, including the microwave, TV, and outlets, and we noticed it in more than one room. It wasn’t a major issue for us given the price and service. I’d give it 4 stars and recommend it if you want a budget stay in a handy spot.
