I was in Homer for work and found the Best Western welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and I appreciated being able to grab quick coffee at reception before early starts. My room was large, very clean, and comfortable, and they have different layouts for solo guests or coworkers traveling together. Breakfast was included, and the bay and glacier view from the dining room was stunning. The Otter Room bar is right at the hotel, with good food and drinks, pull tabs, and friendly bartenders to chat with. It had a relaxed feel and reflected the local community. The beach is about a five-minute walk away. When my rental car needed a jump, the staff stepped in right away and had me back on the road within 15 minutes. That support made a big difference. Thanks to the whole team, I’d gladly stay here again when I return to Homer.

I just visited Homer in December 2025 and had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the fitness gym was a big plus for me since this is the only hotel in Homer with one. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, though the bar looked cool, and I definitely took advantage of the free popcorn. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but the sunrise view from the breakfast room was awesome. I’d absolutely stay here again.

I really appreciated being able to buy water at the front desk, and the hotel has a restaurant and sports bar called the Otter room. The food there was a 3/10 for me, though plenty of locals eat there, so maybe it was just what I ordered. Breakfast was the usual hotel spread in a roomy area, with no problems. The BW hotel was clean and fairly well maintained. I gave it 4 stars because the door seal was hanging loose and nearly detached.

We come to Homer and stay at the best western every time. The staff are friendly, the housekeepers do a great job cleaning the rooms we pick, and breakfast is complementary. It's a great place to stay.
