We came for our honeymoon, and Anna and Byron made it feel like a real celebration. Their hospitality was incredibly generous, and we felt warmly welcomed from the start. The house is astonishingly beautiful and immaculately clean, with historical details that share the hosts’ stories and lives. It felt like stepping into another time, cared for and shared with such grace. Breakfast was delicious, made with local products, and we enjoyed it with a breathtaking view from the room and kitchen. The whole place felt peaceful, warm, and beautiful. We’re so grateful we got to spend such a meaningful occasion here. We’ll carry these memories with us and hope to return soon to enjoy the home again and hear more of Anna and Byron’s stories. Thank you both for a magical stay.

Anna and Byron were wonderful hosts, and breakfast was excellent. You get to choose what you’d like, and they make it with local products. My husband is still talking about Byron’s coffee. We had great conversations and got suggestions for hiking areas to try. We stayed five nights in the lower-level Island View rooms, with a breathtaking view of the Spit, bay, and mountains. It was a perfect place to finish our vacation.

The breakfast was made to order with the finest ingredients and so much care, easily the best I’ve had at a B&B. Anna and Bryon were kind, friendly, and very capable hosts. The house has amazing views and is comfortable throughout. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a private bathroom. If you’re in Homer, this is definitely the place to stay.

The little touches made us especially comfortable, like slippers and power strips on each nightstand. Our bottom-floor Island View Suite had glorious views, plenty of sitting areas, tasty breakfasts, and quiet, lush grounds. You can see Grewingk Glacier just a few steps from the room. Anna and Byron really have thought of everything. We’d stay again!

Play and Stay is a lovely place to stay when you fly to Alaska. Anna greeted us with a big smile and such personal charm. The beautifully designed, fully equipped place looks out on a stunning view. They took care of every need and answered every question or request with care. An absolute delight!
