The cottage was quiet, easy to get to, fresh, and updated. We loved the windows and being able to open them for fresh air, and spent one evening making s'mores at the fire pit. The beds were comfortable and the house was lovely. Just keep in mind that there are several steps up to it, and it's two stories, which could be a problem if stairs are difficult for you. We had a wonderful time and will stay again.

These cottages sit on the quiet side of the lake. They look rustic outside but feel luxurious inside, and make a great place to stay at Tahoe.

The cottage had a luxurious glamping feel, and we loved the outdoor patio for coffee in the morning or looking at the stars. Cedar Crest Cottages is in a great location, and check-in and checkout were easy. We had an amazing stay.

We spent our tenth wedding anniversary in cottage 2 and were stunned by the whole place. The area is beautiful, well kept, and remarkable. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful throughout, including when we had concerns about the ongoing Mosquito fire. The cottage was gorgeous and clean, with thoughtful amenities, and they left us a bag of ground coffee on arrival. It was some of the best coffee I've ever had. I'm so glad I found cedar crest cottages. This will be a regular spot for us. I could write pages about how amazing it was. Ten stars out of five.

The cottages are spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully decorated. We cooked good meals with the gourmet appliances and utensils, and there are also plenty of nearby places for takeout. A scenic, easy bike path runs right in front, and the small beach across the street gives you access to swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I've stayed at Cedar Crest Cottages a few times now. It's the best place in Lake Tahoe for a luxurious, peaceful stay you can plan at your own pace. A great spot for a few days, and one I keep coming back to.
