We could walk from the door to the beach in under five minutes, and there were water views and a parking spot included. The apartment felt fresh and modern, with plenty of bedding for all eight of us. Beaches for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities are super close, and there’s plenty of shopping and food within walking distance.

The complex is so clean, and the janitor who looks after it works hard all the time. He keeps the whole place sparkling. Kudos to him!

Working with Tai was great, though I can’t say whether all the units are like this one. Our unit had so many useful things, from towels, beach blankets, chairs and an umbrella to toiletries, chargers, Netflix, and a washer and dryer. There was even a sprayer on the bathroom pipes to rinse sand off our feet, plus a lovely lanai, a big fridge for leftovers, and a kurig. We loved it and couldn’t have been happier. The location was hard to beat for getting to the beach, main roads, shops, restaurants, and food trucks. The one difficulty was our parking spot. Our rental car was large for a family of five, and if the other spots had been occupied, parking might have been a problem. Still, five stars. Mahalo!

The laundry app lets you know when your load has about three minutes left, and the property feels very secure. Everyone is super nice, too. The building has made a lot of improvements under new management, and after seeing so much change in just a few months, I’m looking forward to where it goes next. The location is hard to beat, just a few minutes’ walk from Waikiki Beach, Kuhio Beach Park, and the strip.

A good value: the unit is a nice size, the building feels very secure, and the resident manager stays on top of things. The location is hard to beat, and free parking comes with the unit.
