AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu

We needed a room at the last minute, and were grateful the AC Hotel Honolulu had one available that same day. We stayed six nights, and everything was seamless and comfortable. The staff made us feel at home throughout, especially Jose at the front desk, who was kind and attentive. The valet team was fantastic too, and one attendant even wrote out local food recommendations. We appreciated the thoughtful suggestions whenever we asked. The gym was clean, well equipped, and one of the better hotel gyms we’ve seen. Having Common Ground coffee right next door made mornings easy and enjoyable. I’d suggest adding dehumidifiers and microwaves to the rooms for convenience. It was a wonderful stay, and we’d absolutely come back.

We loved exploring other parts of the area from this downtown spot, away from Waikiki’s noise. I was on holiday there with my adult daughter, and the local restaurants were great. The hotel food was amazing too. The courtyard is beautiful, the rooms are new and modern, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Great value for what you get. Such a gem, highly recommend!

Nalu at the front desk was a huge help. He sorted out a booking mistake I’d made, kept our luggage for us, and stayed positive and helpful the whole time. The cafe and restaurant staff were lovely too, and the food was great. The hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Being based here let me see parts of the city I wouldn’t have seen if I’d stayed on Waikiki. It worked really well for my partly work, partly vacation trip to Hawaii. Ephrem at the front desk really made the stay. Over our 10 days, he helped my husband and me with everything from losing our room keys to finding somewhere to eat. Thanks so much, Ephrem, you’re the best!
