Honor Motel

The bed and sheets were so comfortable, and the heater worked great. This sweet little motel had everything we needed for one night on our road trip. Check-in and checkout were super simple and contact-free.

The owners were nearby and really helpful whenever we might have needed something. It's a nice little place with a feel somewhere between a motel and an Airbnb. I'd definitely recommend it and stay here again.

We loved exploring the beaches even in winter, watching and hearing the waves roll in. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the owner responded quickly to our concerns. The location was ideal for visiting lakes, charming towns and villages, lighthouses, and beaches. Frankfurt was a great stop for coffee and a bakery treat. The trees were still colorful when we arrived, and the scenery was beautiful. We also found farms where we bought local honey and maple syrup.

The rooms are nicely updated and very clean, and having a fridge and microwave makes it easy to cook. There are also some good restaurants nearby, and the folks in the office are friendly and helpful. I've stayed at the Honor Motel fairly regularly for fall trips to that gorgeous part of the state for about a decade, and they never disappoint. I appreciate the convenience of the motel setup.
