Hood River Hotel

I booked a room through booking.com for my mom's birthday. When I called to complete a credit card authorization, Alicia was so sweet and said she'd note that it was her birthday. My mom said the room was great, the staff were sweet, and there was something waiting for her in the room. She really enjoyed her stay, and I'm grateful the staff made her feel special.

Tara went above and beyond when I left a winter coat behind. She ran up to my room to check that it was there, then the hotel manager mailed it back to me. The staff were superior, and their coffee is fabulous. The community is quaint, historic, and picturesque. I'll be back, and I'll gladly fill out every review I can to praise the service. Thank you!

For our wedding weekend at the Hood River Hotel, we hosted our mehndi and farewell breakfast the day after. Baylee and James helped so much with planning and coordination, including arranging tours in advance so we could see the different hotel spaces. The bridal suite was bright and cozy for our immediate family, and the Emerald Room was just the right size for everyone at brunch. Staff helped with setup, other logistics, and arranging a block of hotel rooms. Many of our guests stayed there and had a great time too. The hotel has lots of charm, is centrally located, and everyone was so friendly.

My October wedding at the Hood River Hotel was an amazing experience. The staff handled the transitions through the day helpfully and efficiently. The space is charming and has room for your own decorations. The Emerald Room is worth a look if you're after an indoor wedding venue with a classic vintage feel and lots of included amenities. The Wedding Suite worked for our stay and for the bridal party getting ready, while the Bunkhouse, a huge luxury bunk room, gave guests a place to stay and the groomsmen somewhere to get ready. The large Emerald Room let us have the whole wedding together in one intimate space.
