Hilton Garden Inn Hoover Birmingham

There are good places to eat nearby, and the hotel sits next to a nice outdoor shopping center. It’s a new place with a clean room, working AC that really cranked, and just the right water pressure. The lobby has quiet spots for people traveling on business, while families and leisure travelers can use the outdoor games on the patio.

This hotel beats most of the others around here, but it needs to fix the TV lineup. It’s practically next to The Met - SEC Baseball Tournament, yet there’s no SEC Network. Guests will be surprised by that. As of May 23rd, it still hadn’t been resolved.

My wife has serious health problems, so I asked if I could check in a couple of hours early as a courtesy. They had a room, but charged me 25 DOLLARS and wouldn’t waive it, even though they said they had discretion. The staff weren’t polite about it. The floor in this new hotel’s room was dirty too. I wouldn’t recommend it. I asked the GM who the owner was and was told he didn’t know. I’ll contact corporate. Update: we’re here for two more nights and hope it improves. I’d like to talk with you. How can I reach you?

Such a modern, wonderful place to be. The hotel is brand new, and the shower pressure is out of this world, almost therapeutic. I love the bar too, and the attendant there is very attentive. Management and staff are excellent.
