Best Western Of Hope

The hot breakfast was okay, but the room was old and very dirty. We were there with young children and found dead bugs, probably cockroaches, on the floor. By checkout the next morning we'd seen at least eight. There was a bad smell as soon as we entered, the bedding felt damp and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was dirty too. The TV was some unknown brand, had no basic channels, and wouldn't connect to YouTube or Netflix. The poor cleanliness was enough that we wouldn't come back.

The staff were kind, considerate, professional, and easy to deal with. We didn't see bed bugs or cockroaches. That said, some parts of the cleaning and maintenance needed more attention. See the photos and video.

I paid for two nights, but after the first one I decided not to stay any longer. I let them keep the payment for the second night and left for somewhere better. I wrote a much more detailed review a few weeks ago, but it isn't here, so this is brief: I wouldn't stay again even if it were free, and it was already paid for.

Brenda was a great breakfast hostess. The food was warm and the coffee hot. Our room was clean, and the shower had hot water with great pressure. The location is good, with parking for larger vehicles.
