Comfort Inn & Suites Prince George - Fort Lee

Trash sits in the hallways for days and leaves a strong smell, and management is rude. They don’t like providing the toilet paper they’re supposed to supply. Residents are left to shower in cold water, linen isn’t changed on the scheduled day, and there’s no productive maintenance man on the job. The pool is out of service when it should be open and working. People are working here without permits, and the fire extinguishers don’t work.

The rooms look great and modern, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. I stayed on the comfort side for two weeks for work, and housekeeping never cleaned my room during those 14 days. I had to empty my own trash and go to the front desk for fresh towels every two days. They ran out of face rags too, even though I asked for clean towels. They eventually moved me because housekeeping kept skipping my room due to short staffing and only cleaning a set number of rooms each day. The free breakfast was awful and had very few choices, and the shower pressure was extremely low. You’re on your own for room cleaning and towels, so this is a hard pass.

There was blood on one of the pillowcases, the room smelled like sex, and the place was very dusty from construction materials and work left around. No breakfast or vending machines either. The $122 price was outrageous. I’ll find another hotel next time I visit my son at Ft Lee Army base. Very disappointing for a hotel that hosts military families.

My company booked four to six rooms here for a four-week work stay, and after the first week we still hadn’t had any cleaning service. We work 10-hour days, then have to go to the front desk every evening to get clean towels. The bathrooms haven’t been cleaned, the sheets haven’t been changed, and the carpets haven’t been vacuumed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
