Executive Residency by Best Western Philadelphia-Willow Grove

The hotel was quiet and felt safe, and parking was easy. The location made it convenient to get around the area, and the recent renovation work was easy to see. The front desk staff were friendly, too. We stayed a few nights for Mother's Day and were really pleased. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the little kitchenette turned out to be more useful than I expected. It was a comfortable stay, and I'd definitely return.

The location was convenient, in an upscale area near plenty of restaurants and an easy drive into Philly. I also appreciated the free parking and the friendly staff who made check-in easy. Our room was very spacious, more like a small apartment, and the full kitchen was a big plus. Everything felt clean and modern, and the bed was comfortable. A solid choice for a few nights or a longer stay. I'd definitely come back.

After an unexpected situation, I had to check out early. The front desk agreed to refund me, gave me a receipt confirming two nights, and said the money would be returned once the manager came back. But when I later contacted the hotel directly, the employee I spoke with was extremely rude and kept hanging up on me. Even after I mentioned the receipt, he continued to say he needed to check with his manager. I also contacted Best Western. They said the hotel refused the refund under its cancellation policy, and that they couldn't intervene because each hotel has its own rules. I understand policies exist, but my circumstances were unusual, and no one told me at check-in or check-out that the booking was non-refundable. Giving me a refund receipt and then refusing to pay was a way of tricking the customer. Please avoid this hotel.

I came here with my daughter at the last minute after an urgent problem at home, needing somewhere to sleep. We arrived around 9 p.m. on a school night. For the price, the room exceeded my expectations: it was clean and apartment-like, with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom with a door. Check-in was quick and easy, and we both slept well before leaving early. The problem is that I think I left my laptop charger in room 237. I can't seem to reach anyone by phone because it just keeps ringing. If I can get ahold of someone, I'll change my rating to five stars.
