We were 17 hours from home, heading to our hunting spot over Labor Day weekend, when I realized I couldn't find any confirmation for the room I thought I'd booked at the Canyon Motel. I'd put off booking until the last minute, and started to panic. The manager told me not to worry and to meet him at the desk so he could fit us in. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a yearly trip with my boys, and we'll be staying here from now on. I wish I could remember the manager's name, but he knows who he is. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Room #4 worked perfectly for my husband and me. The king bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the towels, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and tall table with chairs. When my husband accidentally locked us out by turning the door handle lock, I called and someone came to help within minutes. That was a relief. I did miss having a full-length mirror, and an ice machine would be nice. It is a bit pricey, but that's CO.

We got in at 9:40 at night, after the front office had closed. I called the number a couple of times, and John, I think that was his name, came over to open up and check us in. He even gave us a room with two beds so we could sleep better. The service was amazing. The room itself was cozy, though I knocked off a star for finding a couple of moths. The location is also great, with green mountain views from our room, near Granby and grand lake, and close to rocky mountain National Park. Nearby hotels were going for 250+ a night, so this felt like a great value.

The manager came right over when we had a small problem with the TV. Our room was very clean, the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, and the little kitchen had plates and silverware for our dinner leftovers. I'd happily stay here again.
