The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but the room was rough. It smelled of chlorine and cigarettes, and the floor felt sticky, like something had spilled. The toilet wouldn't flush unless we removed the tank lid and worked it manually. The shower also wouldn't drain, so we had to clear the clog before and after each shower. You get what you pay for.

Service was quick and friendly, the sheets were clean, and the room didn't smell of smoke. That's why I'm giving it two stars. The place needs cleaning: the floor felt sticky, there was black stuff on the toilet and tub, and we found roaches even though we hadn't eaten in the room. There was also a musty smell and a nasty chair that needs redoing. The bathroom paint clearly showed water damage. If I were the manager, I'd have them redo the sheetrock.

The room was great, including the smoking room, which was in good shape, didn't smell like smoke, and was nicely set up. The rooms were tidy and welcoming, and so were the staff. Taylor made check-in easy and helped get my dad's credit card authentication sorted, bearing with his lack of computer skills and ignorance. It was a great experience with excellent service.

The woman at the front desk was nice, and that's the only reason I'm giving one star. Customer service needs work. The cards they gave us didn't work when we arrived. We only used the room at night to shower and sleep. When we asked for extra towels, we were told to turn in the ones we had. We'd left them outside the door and they were picked up, but no fresh towels were brought. We found bed bugs in the drawers on the first night, so we avoided using them. The second night, my daughter had bites on her back. When we reported it, the only response was, “We'll let maintenance know.” No accommodation was offered. It was a horrible experience. Next time we'll stay at Quality Inn & suites like we normally do. It's about $30 more, and this is what happens when you try to save a buck.
