For the price and season, this was a good deal. We felt safe enough, there were no bugs, the A/C and fridge worked well, the owners were great, and there were plenty of towels. The beds were cozy, the TV seemed to have lots of channels, and the pricing was fair. We were here for something at the Marine base, so the location worked well, and the beach is only half an hour away. A few things weren’t great: no coffee maker, a hair dryer that didn’t work, loud neighbors outside all night, a curtain that wouldn’t close all the way, and unsecured Wi-Fi with no passcode. The beds also weren’t as big as we expected after booking “two queens.” Altogether, not bad.

A quiet, spacious room, with lots of fast food places and restaurants close by. Nice spot for a weekend visit with family or friends.

It’s a basic place, and the rooms are dated, but mine was clean and there were no disturbances. If you just need somewhere to crash in Havlock, it’s not bad.

I got great value for the price and have no complaints. The motel is dated, but very clean: fresh sheets and towels, clean laminate floors, no smell in the room, and a tidy bathroom with fresh paint and a new shower. There’s a microwave and fridge in the room, plus newer furniture except for the side chair. The bed was very comfortable, and check-in service was good.

The housekeeper we met, Kendra, was fantastic and is definitely a keeper. We seemed to get the last room available that evening, and its linens were dated compared with the other rooms. If that’s the only issue I found, that’s a win. The new owners are off to a great start, though they have a long road ahead. I’d stay again and look forward to seeing what they do with the place.
