Best Classic Inn & Suites Houston I 45 near IAH

I wish I'd read the reviews first. Bedbugs ate me alive, and when I told the manager, he called me a liar and said I had skin problems. The place is horrible, the staff are shockingly rude, and one stairwell had a full bee infestation. This is the worst cheap dump of a motel I've ever stayed in. Spend $10 more somewhere else and save yourself the trouble. Good riddance. Those pictures show the bedbug bites.

We paid the online rate and expected a non-smoking room, as our reservation confirmation clearly showed. They gave us a smoking room instead. When I asked to switch, they said they had no non-smoking rooms, then refused to accommodate us or refund our money. The staff, especially the night manager, were rude. They're thieves and criminals, and don't deserve even one star. They need zero.

After we moved out of our first awful room, staff stood there watching us pack. I politely shut the door in their faces. At 10am the next day, they called to tell us to check out. I pointed out checkout was at 11 and asked them not to call before then. We decided to stay one more night, but asked to change rooms again because of bedbugs. The manager put us in the same room we'd started in. At 2am I woke up covered in bites and saw bugs crawling in the bed. I called the office for another room, but they said none were available because it was the weekend, even though people kept checking in. The manager offered to spray, saying pest control came once a week. I told him it clearly wasn't working, and I wasn't going to sleep in a bed with bugs or bug spray. They eventually refunded us after I threatened to get their business shut down. I have pictures of both rooms, and we left after getting the refund.

Dead roaches were everywhere, as if the room had never been cleaned. Then a rat ran across it. I told the manager, but he said he couldn't move us or give a refund. This is the worst hotel I've ever experienced, infested with roaches and rats. I'd tell anyone not to waste a penny here. If I could give it a negative star rating, I would.
