Bposhtels Houston

As a woman traveling alone, I felt very unsafe in the area. The bathroom was dirty, the sheets were unclean, and the room lights didn’t work. I left early after that. They told me I’d get a refund for the unused part of my booking, but Bposhtels have completely stopped responding. The one good part was the Heights Hotel front desk staff, who were kind and helpful. The experience was horrible. I would not recommend this for a female traveler.

It’s a budget option that gets the job done, but it’s pretty below average for a hostel. Really, it’s a cheap hotel with some rooms turned into dorms. It doesn’t feel very backpacker-oriented or social.

The pool was really nice, and my room was clean with comfortable beds. This was my first hostel stay instead of a regular hotel room, and I was impressed. Capitola was helpful and responsive whenever I had questions or needed something. She has a lively, charming personality, and I appreciated it a lot. I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend the hostel.

We ended up staying two days, even though I’d originally planned to spend just a couple of hours here with my girlfriend. The place was spotless and had such an inviting atmosphere that we felt completely comfortable and had an amazing time.
