Comfort Suites Westchase Houston Energy Corridor

We spent Christmas here with the kids and had a great stay. The staff were cooperative, and when we had a TV problem, the front desk moved us to another room right away. The rooms are spacious, well laid out, and have the amenities we needed. We'll definitely stay here next time.

The back door never worked, people smoked on the property, and there was never a manager on duty. The housekeepers were rude, and I felt the staff ignored my needs and just wanted my money. I stayed for 2 1/2 months while waiting for housing. At first things seemed okay, but promised housekeeping often never came, and they refused my request for a deep clean. Without telling me, they took photos of what looked to me like normal wear and things housekeeping should clean during a long stay. They didn't discuss any of it, so I thought everything was fine until I had to move because the toilet failed for the second time, in another room. After I moved, they gave me a warning about cleaning, so I switched rooms again. That toilet had the same problem. I reported it right away and was told someone would check, but nobody came. I ended up taking the back off the toilet to flush it, which was disgusting. The blanket was never changed during my stay despite repeated requests. I was eventually told they don't clean those blankets for at least a month. They kept my deposit and asked for another one because of stains on the duvet. It was stained, not damaged. I have pictures showing the room wasn't cleaned properly. They tried to use old photos to say the bathroom was dirty, including towels left on the floor. Their policy says deposits are withheld for damage, not a stained duvet, and I asked them to explain that unclear policy. NABINA, the front desk clerk, is recorded saying they don't clean the blankets for at least a month or so. I have video of the toilet too. None of this is mine, and I'm definitely taking them to court.

The bed was nice, and the crib I requested arrived clean and on time. It's a great location with easy access to attractions. Breakfast wasn't great, and even basic items weren't available every day. The heater didn't work well either. Housekeeping wasn't daily, but they did come when asked and brought a fan while waiting to fix the heater.

The place seemed old and not well looked after. The floor was tacky, and damp bedding made my skin itch, so I slept badly. We couldn't use the pull-out bed because of a big stain, leaving my teenage son to share a bed with me. Some outlets didn't work, and the toilet occasionally took two flushes.
