This was the worst Marriott I've stayed in. There was hair throughout the room, sheetrock peeling off the walls, empty paper products, and the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned. The repairs seemed to involve duct tape and WD40. Service was decent, but the interstate nearby made it easy to wake up during the night. I know the noise wasn't the hotel's fault, but I still slept badly. Just a bad experience. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The room was spacious, but even basic things were missing. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash, just empty shower slots with no sachets. After every flush, the toilet kept running for 15-20 minutes. There were no napkins, and I had to search for several minutes before finding a usable outlet tucked under the table. The lobby smelled strongly of gas throughout my two-night stay. When I told the front desk, they said they knew about it, but nothing had been done. This was only my second stay with Marriott, and unfortunately one of my worst experiences with the brand. For a chain known for its standards, this fell far short. After this, I don't see myself choosing Marriott again.

A great deal for what I paid, and the place was super clean and nice. Breakfast here was minimal at best, but guests could eat free at the hotel next door, and that was as good as or better than other free hotel breakfasts. The toilet ran all night, what a waste of water. I know how to fix that kind of thing, so I stopped it myself and reported it. Hopefully it's been sorted out now.

The breakfast was advertised until 10:00 a.m., but when I went down at 7:47, all there was were iced cookies, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, and apple juice. Not continental, not even a real minimal spread, just confusing. I also called the desk because there was no soap in the bathroom. I was told, in a direct quote, “none of the rooms have soap.” When I asked how guests were meant to wash their hands after using the restroom, the answer was, “A lot of people complain about that, but I don’t know what you want me to do about it. I’m just a front desk lady.” She did find a stray shampoo packet and asked if I wanted it, which was better than nothing. I've stayed in more hotels than I can count, from tiny rural strips to major city hubs, and never seen one that didn't provide basic soap. That's not a luxury, it's the bare minimum. My reserved room apparently didn't exist, so they put me in a room with a portable AC unit that roared like a plane getting ready to leave. When I called to ask about a quieter room, I was told every room uses the same units. So this is just part of the stay. The room wouldn't cool down, either. There was no soap, and the staff response to a basic concern felt dismissive and apathetic. The place isn't just poorly managed, it feels indifferent. If you need a quiet place to sleep after a long day flying passengers across the country, or a shower and something like breakfast before doing it again tomorrow, stay literally anywhere else. If you care about sleep, hygiene, or basic hospitality, skip this property. You'd be more comfortable sleeping in a well-lit Walmart parking lot. At least you could run in and get some soap.

We’d already paid and had a reservation, but they overbooked and didn’t honor it. Instead, they sent us to a cheaper hotel and left us walking there in the rain at night with our 9-month-old. They offered no credit or refund. It ruined our Houston visit, and I’ll make sure to tell people whenever I get the chance. I’m very disappointed and will never book with them again.
