The room was clean and comfortable, and being near the H-E-B store made it convenient to pick up groceries or everyday essentials. I enjoyed my stay at ABVI America’s Best Value Inn – Medical Center, 2419 Riverside Dr, Houston. It’s a handy, budget-friendly option if you’re visiting the Medical Center area.

The location is great for the Medical Center, with convenient connections to nearby places. The surroundings felt peaceful, calm, and safe. Security seems to be a priority, too. CCTV cameras around the property gave me peace of mind, and it felt secure day and night. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with nice lighting and decorations that made them feel relaxing. Housekeeping kept everything neat, fresh, and well maintained each day. Breakfast was good, and the area was clean and well organized. From arrival through checkout, the service was excellent at ABVI – America’s Best Value Inn, Medical Center Houston, 2419 Riverside Dr, Houston. The staff were polite, supportive, and respectful. The day and night teams were among the best I’ve met in hospitality, always smiling and ready to help, and they made me feel safe and comfortable. The owner was kind, professional, and supportive as well, and clearly cared about guests’ comfort and satisfaction. It was a wonderful stay. I highly recommend ABVI America’s Best Value Inn – Medical Center Houston to anyone visiting Houston, and I’ll definitely stay here again.

The rates are affordable and feel worth it. I felt safe and cared for, and the management and front desk were amazing, always willing to help day or night and giving it their best. The people were so nice. The room was great, with a comfortable bed, good shower, and a clean, quiet atmosphere that smelled nice. I had a really wonderful time here!

I needed somewhere affordable for several days near the Texas Medical Center, and this place fit what I was looking for. It was close by, quiet, clean, easy to get in and out of, and felt safe. There was free Wi-Fi, parking in a safe lot, continental breakfast, and comfortable beds. The front desk men were all exceptionally kind. Breakfast ran from 6 to 9 a.m. and had orange juice, coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, cold cereal with milk, packaged muffins, and tangerines. A few things could be better. My downstairs room, #120, had no window screen. I opened it during the day for fresh air and didn’t have any bug problems. There was daily shampoo and lotion, but no conditioner. No coffee maker or cups in the room, either. There is a microwave, so bring instant coffee if you want it, and get a cup at breakfast or pack a travel mug. The desk only had one chair, so another would be useful if two people want to eat there. The deadbolt didn’t line up with the hole in the door frame. I called the office and someone came, but it still wasn’t right. I had to push the door in to turn the bolt all the way. The regular lock worked, but the door wasn’t secured unless I got that deadbolt fully turned. There’s no manual safety latch on the outside, so make sure the deadbolt catches. The beds were comfortable, but the metal bed base clangs loudly if you bump it with your toes. That’s rough if someone’s getting up to use the bathroom while another person sleeps. Maybe it’s because the floors are tile instead of carpet. The cleaners came daily and did a good job, but tile floors leave your feet dirty, so I kept a towel beside the bed to wipe them. Wear shoes, socks, or slippers. The strong cleaning fragrance bothered my sinuses a bit, and I opened the window while reading to air the room out. Some baseboards could use touch-up paint, though the room looked good overall. The coverlets, furniture, and wall decor were nice and calming. There was plenty of hot water, and the sink pressure was very high, but the shower pressure was so low it was hard to rinse off the soap and shampoo. I mentioned the issues at checkout. Even with those minor drawbacks, I’d still recommend this hotel. At $88 a night, every night, the price is hard to beat.
