The Residency Suites

Good rates, friendly service, and a great location. I’d recommend staying here and would come back next time.

We got locked out of our apartment on Sunday in the early afternoon, with our baby inside with us. A locksmith was way over our budget, and the apartment office wouldn’t open until the next day, so we needed a hotel. This one was fairly close to home, and I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The room was spacious and very clean, the upgrades were really nice for the price, and the shower was lovely. We were comfortable, and I’d recommend it to friends or family if they needed a place.

The room smelled strongly of mold, probably because the bathroom floor flooded every time I showered. They wouldn’t give me extra towels. I was called a thief and had to pay for a blanket because housekeeping had used the wrong one on a bed. They also accused me of stealing the coffee machine because they hadn’t opened the cabinets to see where I’d put it out of the way. The cleaning clearly wasn’t very good if they didn’t even check the cabinets. The owner’s son was unbelievably rude. I had my pet in the room for over a week and didn’t hide it; housekeeping even serviced the room while my cat was there. Then the owner’s son suddenly decided pets weren’t allowed and told me to leave without a refund. Don’t be surprised.

The staff were polite and accommodating from my first call. The room was spacious and clean, and I liked the shower pressure. It was non-smoking, not in a bad location, and had no carpet. I’ve stayed in other motels without a bad experience, but none stood out like this one. We had an amazing stay for what we paid.
