My organization booked and blocked several rooms for an event at the hotel this weekend, so I expected a smooth, welcoming visit for my guests and me. Instead, I was told there would be no cookies over the weekend because they weren’t baking any. I’ve never seen a Hampton choose to skip that familiar hospitality touch without offering an explanation or an alternative. Even more disappointing was the way one staff member spoke to several people in my party. Her manner was dismissive and unwelcoming. Hospitality is also about how guests feel, and her attitude didn’t reflect the Hampton values I’ve supported for years. I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for a long time and stayed at many Hampton Inn & Suites properties, usually finding the warm hospitality the brand is known for. This location fell far short, and it’s the first time a Hampton has left me this dissatisfied. The service didn’t match the brand’s reputation or the loyalty I’ve shown. I won’t return to this location. I hope management takes this seriously and brings back the standard guests expect.

Chaz made my stay a great experience. He was welcoming, kind, and helpful from the minute I arrived, and went out of his way to make things comfortable and easy. You can tell he cares about guests from every interaction. I’d happily stay here again. Thanks for everything, Chaz.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was cold and clean. Breakfast had sausage, eggs, omelets, waffles, grits or oatmeal, and more. The staff were so friendly and helpful that it surprised us. We stay in lots of hotels for my husband’s work, and we didn’t meet a single person who was rude or failed to say hello. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in Houston.

They got our room ready even though we were arriving before check-in time, after we let them know in advance. Everyone was kind, from the front desk to maintenance and housekeeping. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was hot and good all three days. On Friday they had delicious soft cookies, too. There’s a pool and hot tub, nearby restaurants and convenience stores, and Downtown Houston is about 7 miles away. It was easy to find food without traveling far unless you want something specific. I had a great stay and would come back or recommend the hotel.

I stayed February 20-22 and won’t return to this location when I’m in Houston. Twila at the front desk was very rude and didn’t handle my questions about amenities or check-in times professionally. The continental breakfast was also subpar. Everything was cold and wasn’t replenished properly.
