The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could want. The pool and spa were great too. For $40, you can get a day pass to use the spa sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. Shops and high-end restaurants are within walking distance. My only issue was at check-in: the woman helping me had such a strong accent that I couldn’t understand her. Otherwise, everything was five stars.

The lobby and corporate room were both immaculate, even with all the traffic through the hotel. I was there for a corporate event, but the care and service stood out from beginning to end. The valet impressed me from when I handed over my keys to when he returned them as I left. Next time, I’ll stay overnight and get the full experience.

Everything else about this hotel is wonderful, and the service is usually very high quality. Housekeeping is the exception. Starting at 10 a.m. and continuing all day, they’re loud in the corridors, talking, singing, and slamming doors. I leave tips, but it hasn’t seemed to help. They don’t restock the vanity kit or water, and the pillows are left messy. They need more training.

Kenneth at the front desk made check-in easy and enjoyable. He was welcoming and professional. I was amazed by the hospitality throughout my visit to Houston and Tilman Fertitta’s Post Oak Hotel. I stayed in the Concierge Suite on the 21st floor, with an incredible view. The room was spotless and extremely luxurious, with thoughtful lighting and furniture, a remarkably comfortable bed, and a nice selection of high-end liquor and wine. Breakfast was outstanding: the crab cakes were perfect. The concierge lounge also had a great range of food that changed throughout the day. The Post Oak Hotel is worth it if you’re visiting Houston. A true luxury experience.

Isaiah went above and beyond throughout our stay and made sure we had a great time. Jay at the front desk was also great when we checked in. My husband and I had a wonderful visit, with clean, beautiful rooms and plenty of amenities. The hotel really aims to provide excellent service, and it delivered. We’ll be back.
