Baymont Inn & Suites Dublin

The room had broken lights, a buckling floor, mold under the sink at the back of the cabinet, dirty blinds, and a dirty shower curtain. I tried to cancel the last night in person the evening before, but nobody was in the office. There was still nobody there the next morning. When I booked, I was told someone would be in the lobby 24 hours a day. I was also charged for the third night, even though I’d been told on the phone I wouldn’t be charged because of a family medical emergency. I won’t go back.

There was no TV remote in the room, and the one we were given didn’t work with the TV. Breakfast didn’t start until 8 am, too late for me, and the lobby wasn’t open for coffee or tea. There wasn’t even a coffee maker in the room. Then I checked my bank statement and saw we’d been billed for two nights though we stayed only one. We’re disputing the charge, and I’ve changed my review to one star. I don’t recommend Baymont by Wyndham Dublin.

I’m not from Dublin and stayed here for a few days. Management was awful. I got locked out, and there was nobody at the front desk at night. They didn’t refund me either. What a waste of time and money. Don’t stay here, the Super 8 across the street is much better.

The rooms are roomy, and the motel is handy for restaurants and fast food. The stained bed linens need attention, and the AC is really loud. For the price, though, it’s about what I expected. Could work if you just need a basic place to sleep and wash up.
