Quality Suites Houston Hobby Airport

The bed was really comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast and good, and the airport pickup was helpful and friendly. They charge $25 per room for late checkout, which is annoying, especially when checkout is at noon. I might understand that fee if checkout were at 1 pm. Breakfast was extremely limited, just a waffle machine, which I can't eat. Hard-boiled eggs would at least give us a protein option. There's no coffee after breakfast either. They should have coffee, tea, and water available all day and night, something the desk clerk could easily keep up. Those are things I count on at a budget hotel when I'm traveling. Please help us out on the road. I appreciated the response, and that's why I review. I've added a star.

The front desk woman was so kind, and the lobby and room were spotless. The room was huge, with a big, comfortable bed. One of the nicest places I've stayed, and the cheapest in the area. It was a lovely hotel for a low price. HOU airport is across the street, just under a 10-minute walk, and there's a shuttle too.

I stayed one night in early October to be near Hobby airport for an early departure. I got in during the evening and left early the next morning, so I didn't have breakfast. The room was very nice, clean, quiet, and had cold A/C. It looked recently refurbished, and the service was excellent. The complimentary airport shuttle I'd arranged at check-in for 4 am worked perfectly. The place was excellent value for the money and suited my short stay perfectly. I'd definitely stay here again.

We were disappointed by how things were handled during our stay, and we won't stay here again. My disabled wife and I had our luggage left outside the door. Staff only took it out of their van and didn't help further. We also tried to use the business office computer and printer, but they gave us two sheets of paper and said we'd have to pay for any more. We've stayed at other Quality Inns without complaints. The rooms were impressively spacious and very clean, with a nicely equipped bathroom and an outstanding shower. But the breakfast was unacceptable if you want anything substantial or varied. Mostly it was a cooler with butter, jelly, cold milk, yogurt, fruit juice, and coffee. Cereal was limited to Cheerios and Fruit Loops, plus a waffle maker and a bread cabinet with white bread, wheat bread, and bagels. The coffee area was closed until breakfast started, and the one-cup machine in our room didn't work. Communication with the staff was also a challenge. The so-called hot breakfast was a disappointment, especially if you aren't looking for bread in different forms.
