The biggest issue for me was the room itself: it smelled musty, there were signs of mold on the walls, ceiling, and AC vents, and the AC was dripping onto the floor. The room was also so dark that I had trouble seeing. A lamp from work helped a bit, but there still weren’t enough outlets, so I had to unplug the TV to use it. The beds weren’t comfortable, though I’ve had worse, and the water was barely warm, so I wouldn’t stay here if hot water matters to you or you’re traveling for work. There’s a kitchen area, but it only had a microwave and full-size fridge, not the stove or other things shown in the advertised photo. The pool wasn’t usable and didn’t look like it would be fixed soon. I haven’t seen any roaches, which is a plus, but that’s the only one I can think of.

I was charged way too much for rooms that weren’t worth the price. I didn’t feel safe at all, especially with so much activity going on at night. This place needs new management.

The location worked well for NRG and nearby stuff, and the king bed, fridge, and hot shower would’ve been nice if the room hadn’t been crawling with roaches. There were bugs in the bed too, though I didn’t see bed bugs specifically. Trash and roaches were waiting by the elevator, and the hallway floor was covered in some mystery liquid. The traffic outside was awful, though I got used to it. The other guests I ran into seemed fine, and I didn’t see any police, just the usual people smoking outside, probably to get a break from the bugs. I was there five nights for work and never saw housekeeping. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the vending machine supposedly worked but didn’t. I didn’t try the laundry machines. One light bulb was already out when I checked in. I asked two different front desk staff if they could replace it, or give me one to change myself, and got shrugs and head shakes. They were pleasant enough, just not very concerned about the amenities. The place might have been fine if it wasn’t infested and so poorly maintained.
