We arrived at 2 a.m. after traveling from Europe and needed somewhere to stay before a wedding weekend. The room smelled so strongly of an ashtray that we kept the windows open for two hours, but couldn't bear it. It was filthy, and there were roaches everywhere. The front desk woman was rude and aggressive, and refused to move us or refund us. She said smoking was allowed, even though the website says the hotel is non-smoking and we'd booked a non-smoking room. The manager never returned my calls. After more than a decade of traveling around the world, this was my worst hotel experience. The positive reviews may be for the other Wyndham on the street. Do not book here.

We couldn't stand the room and booked another hotel at midnight, willing to lose the deposit and pay whatever it cost. The smell was unbearable: wet wood, humid old air from the AC, marijuana, and mold, and it made us nauseous and gave us a major headache. The hotel smelled of marijuana and old wet furniture as soon as we entered, and it got worse on the way to a place that looked messy, with broken doors, dirty walls, and a gross floor. Inside our room there was a stained old couch, a clogged showerhead, dirty curtains, and stained walls. The odor made us question how sanitary the place was. It seemed more like somewhere for homeless people to party than a vacation spot. I tried to get a refund because the experience was awful and the website photos and description were misleading, but no one could help and the manager never answered my calls or emails. So unprofessional, what a scam. Spend your money on a good hotel instead.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They charge a $60 deposit and then find a reason to keep it. Mine was kept over one dirty towel. There were quite a few roaches, too, and the sofa smelled moldy.

I booked through Expedia for four nights. At check-in, they said my payment method was somehow invalid and charged me again. I thought Expedia could sort it out, but even after Expedia contacted the Baymont for me, they wouldn't refund the duplicate charge. The room was musty and had a couple of roaches. The elevator and ice machine were out of order, and my key card stopped working every time I left, so I kept having to return to the counter. The location is right off the highway and easy to miss, with no easy way to turn around. I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
