Hudson Whaler

When I visit friends in Philmont, Hudson Whaler is always where I stay. I love the beautiful hotel, its nautical look, and all the amenities. The staff are just as great, and always accommodating. Having off-street parking is a big plus for me, so choosing it is an easy decision. I’m grateful to everyone for making my visits so nice. I’d like to try their other properties, maybe this coming summer. See you soon!

The location is perfect, and I can park close to the hotel. Check-in is quick, and the staff are always friendly. I stay at The Whaler almost every time I come to Hudson because the rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed. I’ve also used their gym on past visits, which is great for keeping up with my routine while traveling.

Christine at reception was so lovely and welcoming. The hotel is centrally placed on Hudson’s main street, with lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Our double queen room was clean, with a good-sized bathroom and a great shower. Having coffee or snacks available in reception would have made it cozier.

I only spent one night at Hudson Whaler, but I’d book it again without hesitation. The downtown location is hard to beat, with shops and restaurants all an easy walk away. Parking was simple too. There’s a lot behind the hotel, and you get a permit at check-in. My room was clean and stylish, the bed was comfy, and the pillows helped me get a good night’s sleep. The shower jets were quite an experience. Check-in and checkout were easy. I called ahead and arrived right at 7, when the front desk staff were due to leave, but she kindly waited a few extra minutes for me.
