Quality Inn Huntingburg - Jasper

I won't be coming back to this location. The room conditions don't match the price, and this was by far the worst Quality Inn I've stayed at, despite having been to quite a few. There was blood on both the sheet and ceiling, the AC barely worked, and the bathroom exhaust fan screamed the whole time. The front desk staff were extremely hard to find, even after I rang the bell. Also, a mirror by the window is positioned so you can see the bed while you're sleeping, even with the curtains closed. That's a hard no for me.

The management were really nice, just good people. It took about a 20-mile drive to get to Holiday World, and the hotel was fine for a one-night rest, though it's definitely not a luxury place. We had neighbors on both sides even though about half the hotel was empty, and one of them argued all night. It could use some upgrades, and I thought the nightly price was a bit high.

The room was really dirty and smelled musty, and the TV didn't work. We could hear everything outside because the doors face outdoors, and it was so loud. Kids ran around by the doors, while adults and kids yelled well past 10 pm, even though we had an early day. The door didn't close very well either. There's a mirror right by the window, so someone walking past outside can see into the room through it.

The room was clean, and we liked the beds. We stayed for two nights before going to Holiday World, though we weren't at the hotel very much. It was quiet, and checking in and out was easy. They also had an outdoor pool for summer use.
