The only good thing I can say is that it was quiet. But nobody was there, so why wouldn’t it be? Those two nights were two nights too many, and I’d advise spending a little more for a decent hotel. I asked for a king room but was given one with a king and queen bed. The man said, “Here, you can sleep in the king bed.” Apparently they were saving a king room in case a family showed up. Seems like a two-bed room would suit a family better, but what do I know? The room was filthy. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, the toilet looked worse, and the towel bar by the sink was broken. The drawers were full of dust, dirt, and other filth left by previous guests, so I shut them and kept my things in my suitcase.

I found the room online because I needed an inexpensive place for the night. It was clean, though the furniture was worn. The total was $61.60 with taxes. Check-in was quick and easy once I called the attendant on the house phone, as required for a late arrival. They came promptly.

After hours, it took a while before anyone came to help me. The room was filthy when I got in. The sink was disgusting, covered in hair, dust, and paint. It smelled like an abandoned building, and the room was freezing.

The hotel has new owners and is in the middle of major renovations. The new rooms look great, but they’re still a few months from being finished. Help is always on hand if you need it, and the price is easy to handle. Moe's, with great food, is right at the front entrance. There’s also a skate rink for kids and a dog kennel if needed. It’s pet friendly and half smoker friendly, with laundry and a soda machine on site.
