We had a good stay and plan to come back. The room was clean and roomy, and everyone at the front desk was cheerful, helpful, and really nice.

The bathroom floor was filthy, with dirt and droppings in the corners. The shower water only came out of the faucet, not the showerhead. There was a conditioner bottle with no conditioner in it, refilled with hand lotion. Behind the mattress and under the bed rest I found hair, droppings, and dirty, stained towels.

The $2.50 card processing fee is what pushed me to write this. I hadn’t been told about it, and I had to call to get a receipt for my business expenses. The woman who sent it was matter-of-fact about the new charge added at checkout. The building was dirty and smelled, though my room itself was clean and didn’t smell. The elevator wasn’t working, and the stairwell doors were propped open, which seemed like a fire hazard. They were also using the staircase for storage. Breakfast was very basic: a jug of milk and cereal, no eggs or meat, and the waffle iron was unplugged. They do have two nice saltwater tanks in the lobby, and the man at checkout was nice. I hadn’t planned to post this, but the fee and trouble getting a receipt changed my mind. I also noticed the property responds to reviews with “type your response here” without tying anything.

The bed was comfortable, and I only stayed one night. The elevator wasn’t working, the room smelled, and there were lots of stains in the hallways. It looked like renovations were underway. Breakfast was pretty weak, just waffles or toast, with grape jelly but no butter or cream cheese. I’ll be back more often, so hopefully things improve.
